We will depart from the Punta de Piedras dock, sailing toward this historic island. Coche Island

We invite you to an exciting day trip to the paradisiacal Island of Coche, located in Nueva Esparta state, Venezuela. We will depart from the La Isleta dock on a comfortable boat ride that allows you to enjoy the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean Sea. Macanao Peninsula

Embark on an exciting day trip to the Macanao Peninsula. We begin with air-conditioned transportation to La Asunción, where we'll visit Plaza Bolívar, the church, and the artisan center to learn about the local history.

We continue toward the peninsula, stopping at Las Tetas de María Guevara. Next, we’ll visit La Restinga Lagoon, where we'll board a boat to explore the stunning mangroves for 30 minutes, with the chance to observe birds and marine life. Afterward, we’ll take 4×4 vehicles for a tour of the northern peninsula, including an exhilarating off-road adventure to the beaches of Auyama and El Coco, surrounded by lush vegetation.

We’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at Restaurante Playa Punta Arenas, renowned for its authentic Margarita cuisine. To conclude our day, we’ll explore the Laguna de Boca Chica, admiring its arid landscape, and finish at the Fortín de la Galera in Juan Griego, where we can watch a beautiful sunset before our return.

La Restinga Lagoon

We invite you to enjoy a unique 5-hour experience exploring La Restinga Lagoon, one of the natural treasures of Isla de Margarita. We will embark on picturesque boats that will take us through the fascinating mangrove channels, where you can admire the richness of the local fauna and the stunning landscapes surrounding the lagoon.

La Sierra Tour

Discover "La Sierra," the highest mountain in Margarita Island, on a day trip. We'll start with a visit to La Asunción's Plaza Bolívar, where you'll learn about the Cathedral and typical crafts made from pearls and traditional Margarita garments.

Then, we will ascend the majestic mountain, surrounded by a rich diversity of trees and plants, enjoying its cool climate. Along the way, we will stop at a cacao plantation and a viewpoint with spectacular views of Porlamar.

Our next destination will be the Imparques camp, where we will embark on a two-hour trekking hike. After this adventure, we will visit the Basilica of the Virgin of the Valley, the patroness of eastern Venezuela.

Finally, we will enjoy a local lunch before returning to the accommodation, concluding this unforgettable day in La Sierra.

We invite you to experience an exciting 5-hour adventure to Cabo Negro, one of the most beautiful corners of Isla de Margarita. We will begin with a trekking hike of approximately 2 hours, where you can delight in the stunning landscapes and the characteristic xerophytic vegetation of the island.

Upon reaching Cabo Negro, you will enjoy an hour of relaxation on its paradisiacal beach, perfect for disconnecting and immersing yourself in the tranquility of the natural surroundings. After this time of rest, we will return by boat to the Manzanillo dock.

Immerse yourself in a unique adventure with our Cuentos y Sabores de Margarita tour, a full-day experience that will take you on a journey to discover the island's most authentic landscapes, stories, and flavors.

Tour details

We will start the day with a trekking hike of approximately 3 hours in the town of Tacarigua, departing from Jardín Café. During the hike, we will visit lookout points at the top of the mountain, enjoying spectacular views. The intensity level of the walk is 5 out of 10, perfect for those seeking a moderate challenge while connecting with nature. At the end of the hike, you'll recharge with a delicious empanada or cachapa served with juice.

Next, we will head to the paradisiacal Zaragoza Beach, where you'll enjoy a traditional fish-based lunch and an hour of relaxation by the sea.

The next stop will be the Museo Pueblos de Margarita, where you'll have the chance to participate in sugarcane milling using an original trapiche, learn about the byproducts of this process, and taste a variety of local rums in the distillery. Additionally, you'll savor the delicious piñonate, a traditional sweet from the island.

To conclude, we will head to the city of Juan Griego, where we’ll visit the Fortín de la Galera and admire a breathtaking sunset in this twilight city, ending the day with an unforgettable postcard view of Margarita.

We will begin our excursion by departing from your accommodation and heading towards the southern part of the island. Our first stop will be at the Plaza Bolívar in La Asunción, where we will explore the majestic Cathedral and the charming artisan center.

We will continue the tour by visiting the historic Santa Rosa Castle, followed by a stop at the Basilica of Our Lady of the Valley, home to the revered Virgen del Valle. This location is filled with Margarita's handicrafts, reflecting the island's rich local culture.
